Podtrac Releases September Ranker Of Top 20 Podcast Publishers

PODTRAC has released its SEPTEMBER 2018 ranking of the Top 20 podcast publishers.

Eight of the Top 10 publishers grew their audiences on a month-to-month basis, but the biggest leaps came for THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL with the debut of season 3 of SERIAL and WONDERY with the success of DR. DEATH. The biggest drop saw THE NEW YORK TIMES fall from third to ninth; the top 10 publishers were the same as the AUGUST list. Total global downloads for the top 10 publishers rose 10% from AUGUST and rose 63% year-to-year.

The publisher rankings, which, once again, only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System for the full month (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:
