iHeartMedia/Wilmington Helps With The Turkey Round Up

iHEARTMEDIA/WILMINGTON is presenting the 21st annual TURKEY ROUND UP, a food drive and fundraiser for the FOOD BANK OF DELAWARE, which benefits families living in the DELAWARE area. Two drop-off locations will be open for donations on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8th and FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9th, from 6a until 7p.

On-air personalities such as JUSTIN P from THE BOBBY BONES SHOW; CHRISTA COOPER, WHISKEY and RANDY from WDSD; GLENN, AMY, KAT, BENNY PANELLA, COURTNEY LANE, NICK and ROB TYLER from WRDX (92.9 TOMFM) will broadcast live from the two locations encouraging listeners to donate frozen turkeys, non-perishable food items or cash.  

Last year, the TURKEY ROUND UP collected 469 turkeys, 3,861 pounds of non-perishables and over $11,000 for the FOOD BANK OF DELAWARE.

Because of their support, we can ensure a hot THANKSGIVING dinner for our neighbors struggling to put meals on the table. We hope this year is our best yet!”
