FCC Sets Comment Dates For AM Revitalization Class A Protection Proposals

The FCC has set comment dates for its Second Further Notice Of Proposed Rule Making (SFNPRM) on AM revitalization that offers a new proposal for the protection of Class A AM stations during daylight hours and two alternative proposals for protection of Class A AM stations at night.  

The notice, adopted at the OCTOBER 5th open meeting, was published in TODAY's Federal Register, setting the due date for comments at JANUARY 22nd and replies due FEBRUARY 19th.
