Podtrac Releases December Ranker Of Top 20 Podcast Publishers

PODTRAC has released its DECEMBER 2018 ranking of the Top 20 podcast publishers.

The list includes the same ten players as in recent months, with PRX and THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL swapping slots and only BARSTOOL SPORTS (32%) and NPR (3%) showing month-to-month increases in unique U.S. audience. Total global downloads decreased 10% from NOVEMBER, but were up 56% on a year-to-year basis.

The publisher rankings, which, once again, only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System for the full month (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:

3. RADIOTOPIA/PRX (5)
4. WONDERY (4)
5. THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL (3)
6. THE NEW YORK TIMES (6)
7. WNYC STUDIOS (7)

9. BARSTOOL SPORTS (9)
10. DAILY WIRE (10)
