New Trailer For 'The Ron Burgundy Podcast' Posts

The hype machine is in full effect for the upcoming launch of WILL FERRELL's "THE RON BURGUNDY PODCAST," and the iHEARTPODCAST NETWORK and FUNNY OR DIE are previewing the show's FEBRUARY 7th debut with a second trailer and video teaser that posted TODAY (1/31).  The show will post two 12-episode seasons, with episodes going out on THURSDAYS.

In a press release about the trailer, "BURGUNDY," FERRELL's character from the "ANCHORMAN" movies, said, “The men in the grey suits said I would have utter journalistic control over all of my podcasts and with that, they left. And here we are.  You and me and a whole butt load of time to discuss anything... and I mean anything.”
 
“RON believes he is the most qualified person in the world to host a podcast, but everything he says is just plain wrong,” said iHEARTPODCAST NETWORK President CONAK BYRNE.  “As I’ve stated before, iHEARTRADIO was forced into making this podcast with RON. He has refused to stay away from our studios and is now camping out in a van across the street where he has recorded upwards of 100 cassette tapes of pure nonsense. We’ve been receiving daily deliveries of these tapes, and quite frankly, I am at a loss as to what to do with them.”
