ALPHA MEDIA LICENSEE LLC is buying AC WZSR (STAR 105.5)/WOODSTOCK, IL and Classic Rock WFXF (103.9 THE FOX)/DUNDEE, IL, both in the northwest CHICAGO suburbs, from MATRIX BROADCASTING, LLC, debtor-in-possession for $4,669,011.  In turn, ALPHA is spinning off WFXF to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $900,000 and ALPHA is selling Active Rock WRXQ (Q ROCK 100.7)/COAL CITY-JOLIET, IL to WALNUT RADIO ILLINOIS, LLC for $300,000 plus a shared services agreement allowing the buyer to rent space at ALPHA's studio facilities.
