Bill Mayne To Receive The 2019 CRB President's Award

COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS (CRB) has named music industry veteran and outgoing CRB Executive Dir. BILL MAYNE as the 2019 CRB PRESIDENT’S AWARD recipient. The ceremony will take place at the VANDERBILT MARIOTT in NASHVILLE on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19th at 6 p (CT).

“Over four decades BILL MAYNE has been a fixture on MUSIC ROW," said CRB Board Pres. KURT JOHNSON of TOWNSQUARE MEDIA. "He’s had success in Country radio, promotion, label management, artist management and, for the past ten years, leading COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS and COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS). When you consider the breathtaking span of BILL’s influence on Country, he’s the obvious choice for this year’s PRESIDENT’s AWARD.” 

In APRIL of 2018, MAYNE announced he would step down from his role as CRB Executive Dir., following the 50th Anniversary year of CRS (NET NEWS 4/18/18). The award is presented annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the marketing, production, growth, and development of CRS.
