WZZO/Allentown, PA Morning Man 'The Bearman' Passes

ALL ACCESS has learned that iHEARTMEDIA Rock WZZO (951 ZZO)/ALLENTOWN, PA morning man KEVIN "THE BEARMAN" SCHUTTS has passed away at 64.

BEARMAN was co-host on THE BEARMAN AND KEITH morning show with KEITH MOYER on WZZO; he started at WZZO (then WGPA-F) in 1972 as a part-timer and rose to full-time in 1977, leaving in 1980 for WGRQ (97 ROCK)/BUFFALO, followed by stops at WKLS (96 ROCK)/ATLANTA, WFBQ (Q95)/INDIANAPOLIS, WGTR/MIAMI, back to WZZO in 1988-90, WUFX/BUFFALO, and then, since 1992, his longest stint at WZZO.

The WZZO FACEBOOK page posted this:

"Our 95.1 ZZO family has lost it’s most distinctive voice. With great sadness, we must inform you of THE BEARMAN’S sudden and unexpected passing. He was a wonderful family man and great partner with his friend and teammate KEITH. There will be opportunities to share your favorite memories in the coming days. At this difficult time, we ask that your thoughts are with BEARMAN’s family and friends.
