Flurry Of Appointments, Promotions At Blue Note

Veteran label marketing exec JOSH ZIEMAN joins BLUE NOTE LABEL GROUP's MANHATTAN RECORDS label group as VP of Marketing. ZIEMAN's resume includes stops at COLUMBIA, MERCURY, EMI, and RAZOR AND TIE. In addition, former SONY BMG SVP of International Media and Special Events MELANI ROGERS is joining the label's MANHATTAN group as head of publicity, reporting to ZIEMAN. The MANHATTAN group inclides REAL WORLD, BACK PORCH, and HIGHER OCTAVE RECORDS as well as MANHATTAN RECORDS.
At BLUE NOTE's eponymous label group, which includes METRO BLUE, NARADA JAZZ, and BLUE NOTE, veteran music marketing exec MEG HARKINS has been named VP of Marketing, and several others have been upped to new posts, including GORDON JEE (to VP of Creative), TOM GUERIN (VP of Finance), SAUL SHAPIRO (SVP of Sales), JR RICH (SVP of Publicity), HENRY PETERS (VP of Classical Sales). And at the main office, GREG JANSEN has been tapped as VP of Legal and Business Affairs.
BLUE NOTE LABEL GROUP is the former EMI JAZZ AND CLASSICS division of EMI.
