Carletta Blake, Jason Carr Named PDs For WGAR, WHLK (106.5 The Lake), Respectively

IHEARTMEDIA/CLEVELAND has named CARLETTA BLAKE to the PD for Country WGAR, effective MONDAY, APRIL 8th, while JASON CARR was tapped for a similar post at Adult Hits WHLK (106.5 THE LAKE), effective immediately. BLAKE and CARR will oversee the programming and on-air personalities for their respective stations, reporting to iHEARTMEDIA NORTH OHIO SVP/Programming KEITH ABRAMS.

They succeed former WGAR/WHLK PD CHARLEY CONNOLLY, who departed the stations in FEBRUARY (NET NEWS 2/6).

Previously, BLAKE was  PD/midday host at iHEARTMEDIA Country WNCB (B93.9)/RALEIGH. She also has served as PD at WRNS/NEW BERN, NC, and began her career at KYTS and KSCS/DALLAS. 

CARR joined iHEARTMEDIA/CLEVELAND in FEBRUARY 2018 and is currently  PD for WMMS-HD2 (ALT 99.1 FM) and APD for Rock WMMS. CARR previously served as OM for WSBH and WTSM/MELBOURNE/TREASURE COAST, FL, as well as Station Manager for Hot AC WHLG (COAST 101.3). In addition, his career also includes a seven-year stint in DALLAS/FT. WORTH as part of the LEX & TERRY RADIO NETWORK.
