Monotone, Inc., Names Matt Pollack, Brett Williams Co-GMs, Brian Cross Head Of Live And Touring

MONOTONE, INC. has tapped MATT POLLACK and BRETT WILLIAMS as Co-GMs, it was announced by Chairman/CEO IAN MONTONE. At the same time, BRIAN CROSS was promoted to Head Of Live And Touring at the management company whose roster includes JACK WHITE, SHINS, VAMPIRE WEEKEND, PETE YORN, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, DIXIE CHICKS, DANGER MOUSE and FOSTER THE PEOPLE, among others.

Said MONTONE: “MATT and BRETT work tirelessly for our clients and the company and bring so much experience and passion to MONOTONE. This promotion is simply a validation of the leadership role they’ve been playing within the company for years.”

WILLIAMS will remain based in L.A. and POLLACK in NEW YORK; with both reporting to MONTONE. The two will help oversee MONOTONE’s management roster and all aspects of marketing and promotion, as well as give guidance to the management team. 

WILLIAMS joined MONOTONE, INC.. in 2007 with a small roster of artists that has grown in tandem with his growth at the company, culminating in this leadership role.

POLLACK joined MONOTONE, INC.. in 2007 after holding senior roles in promotion and marketing across a number of major and independent record labels, including RELATIVITY, ELEKTRA AND V2.. In addition to his new duties, POLLACK will continue to oversee radio promotion and digital.

In addition, CROSS has been named Head Of Live And Touring, overseeing touring strategy and development for all MONOTONE clients. Under his leadership, the tour department manages strategy, budgeting, routing, marketing, show design, staffing and more.
