The ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT MUSIC PUBLISHERS (AIMP) presented its fourth annual AIMP NASHVILLE AWARDS at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE last night (4/30). The awards recognized some of the previous year’s most notable independent songs, songwriters and publishers, and honored some of the nominated songs with a night of performances.
JIMMIE ALLEN, TRAVIS DENNING, HARDY and more performed the nominated Songs Of The Year. BLACK RIVER ENTERTAINMENT VP/Publishing CELIA FROEHLIG was honored with this year’s AIMP INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARD.
“It’s a privilege and an honor for me to be a part of this community,” FROEHLIG shared in her acceptance speech. “It’s given me so much joy and allowed me to do something for a living that I love, with people that I love, in a community that I love. And that means so much to me.”
