Annual Great South Bay Music Festival To Be Celebrated In Long Island

The 13th annual GREAT SOUTH BAY MUSIC FESTIVAL will be held at SHOREFRONT PARK in LONG ISLAND's PATCHOGUE VILLAGE from THURSDAY, JULY 18th through SUNDAY, JULY 21st. Over 75 acts in a variety of music genres will perform on five stages. The fest also features multiple craft beer and wine tents, an artisan and craft market, and a food court with a gourmet menu of funky and healthy fare.

Among the 10 bands playing on the two stages on THURSDAY will be TAKING BACK SUNDAY, GLASSJAW, THE MENZINGERS, and ex-MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE guitarist FRANK IERO & THE FUTURE VIOLENTS. 

Headlining the Main Stage on FRIDAY is SLIGHTLY STOOPID, along with SUBLIME WITH ROME, SOJA and COMMON KINGS. SATURDAY will once again be "Jam-Day," with LOTUS, DWEEZIL ZAPPA, SPAFFORD, REID GENAUER'S ASSEMBLY OF DUST, PINK TALKING FISH and THE ENGLISHTOWN PROJECT. 

SUNDAY will offer classic rock fare, including AMERICA, WAR, THE EDGAR WINTER BAND and BLUE COUPE, a fusion of BLUE OYSTER CULT founders JOE and ALBERT BOUCHARD, and DENNIS DUNNAWAY of ALICE COOPER's band.
