Podtrac Releases April Ranker Of Top 10 Podcast Publishers

PODTRAC has released its APRIL 2018 ranking of the Top 10 podcast publishers.

In the latest rankings based on U.S. unique monthly audience, which again includes the same ten players as in recent months, WONDERY and THE NEW YORK TIMES have swapped slots and BARSTOOL SPORTS has jumped from eighth to sixth, with WNYC STUDIOS falling from sixth to ninth.

The publisher rankings, which, once again, only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System for the full month (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:

1. NPR (last month: 1) (55 active shows)
2. iHEARTRADIO (2) (165 active shows)
3. RADIOTOPIA/PRX (3) (70 active shows)
4. WONDERY (5) (66 active shows)
5. THE NEW YORK TIMES (4) (9 active shows)
6. BARSTOOL SPORTS (8) (28 active shows)
7. THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL (7) (2 active shows)
8. ESPN (9) (62 active shows)
9. WNYC STUDIOS (6) (53 active shows)
10. DAILY WIRE (10) (5 active shows)

And ranked by global downloads and streams:
