EMMIS Classic Rock KLBJ/AUSTIN adds THE JOHN CLAY WOLFE SHOW to its SATURDAY morning lineup, beginning JUNE 22nd. 

“We’re adding another legacy rocker and another blowtorch signal to our list of stations,” WOLFE said. “KLBJ joins our other powerhouse TEXAS sticks like KTBZ (THE BUZZ)/HOUSTON and KZPS (LONE STAR 92.5)/DALLAS to ramp up our reach in our home state.” 

On the live, long-form broadcast, WOLFE takes live calls from listeners hoping to sell him their cars before offering them a committed bid, on the spot, in real time. Joining him on the show are J. D. RYAN, BOBBY “BOBBO” BROWN and MIKE TURLEY, along with sidekick DJ PREKAY. 

“We are SATURDAY morning cartoons for adults," WOLFE said. “An SNL-ish show full of bits, skits, impersonations, and great music. But, you can also sell us your car by calling in to 800-800-RADIO.” 

"This station has a rock solid playlist and already recruits a Rock Girl every month, shares a Babe of the Day on its website, and features a morning guy who once appeared in a ‘pot-u-mentary’ called Totally Baked," he continued. "We’re gonna fit in just fine.”
