Great Performances And Tributes Highlight The BET Awards Show

THE MICROSOFT THEATER in LOS ANGELES hosted The BET Awards last night (6/23), hosted by REGINA HALL.

CARDI B who opened the show was this years big winner with two awards; Best Female Hip-Hop artist, and Album of the Year for Invasion of Privacy.

The evening paid tribute to the late rapper NIPSEY HUSSLE who was gunned down in MARCH; he was given a posthumous Humanitarian Award. MARY J. BLIGE took home the Lifetime Achievement Award.
