The NEW YORK METS' 1969 World Championship team will be honored for its 50th anniversary by a special day at CITI FIELD TOMORROW (6/29), and the team's flagship, ENTERCOM News WCBS-A/NEW YORK, will air the festivities before the current METS' game against ATLANTA.
The broadcast will start with pregame coverage at noon, anchored by WCBS reporters PETER HASKELL and TOM KAMINSKI with sister Sports WFAN-A-F middayers EVAN ROBERTS and JOE BENIGNO as "special correspondents." At 3p (ET), a special hour-long pregame will be hosted by METS announcer WAYNE RANDAZZO and ED COLEMAN, while METS play-by-play voice HOWIE ROSE hosts an on-field ceremony. The reeling METS will face the Eastern Division-leading BRAVES at 4:10p.
