A podcast network focusing on female talent that raised funding through a KICKSTARTER campaign last year is launching TODAY (7/1). EARIOS, which is now partnered with ACAST, was created by agent PRIYANKA MATTOO and actors MARIA BLASUCCI and AMANDA LUND.
The shows include "FILLING THE VOID," a show about celebrity women's hobbies, hosted by NETFLIX series "LOVE" creator LESLEY ARFIN; MATTOO and CAMILLA BLACKETT's "FOXY BROWNS," on wellness and beauty issues from the perspective of women of color; BLASUCCI and LUND's "THE BIG ONES," looking at ethical questions; and MELISSA STETTEN and ALI SEGEL's strange-phenomena examination "WEB CRAWLERS."
Coming at a later date will be "THE MARGARET CHO," with the comedian/actress interviewing celebrity friends; "THE GOOD PLACE" writer REBECCA DELGADO's "THE ALARMIST," all about history's "greatest disasters"; singer/songwriter FEIST's "PLEASURE STUDIES"; season 3 of comic MOLLY HAWKEY's "SPERMCAST," following her quest for a sperm donor; actor AASHA DAVIS' "SEX FOR MONEY" game show; "MOTHER OF ALL SHOWS," a parenting podcast with KIMMY GATEWOOD ("GLOW"); and new episodes of JEN ZABOROWSKI's "WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT BRITNEY."
