Confer Radio Talent Institute Begins Today

University Pres. Dr. BASHAR HANNA welcomes twenty-five students from seven universities today at BLOOMSBURG UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA. These students applied and were accepted into the CONFER RADIO TALENT INSTITUTE. Over the ten days of the Institute, the students will be learning from a group of over 40 broadcast professionals.
THE PENNSYLVANIA ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS joins with KERBY CONFER to underwrite the institute. PAB Pres. JOE CONTI said, “We are so impressed with the CONFER RADIO TALENT INSTITUTE. The PAB is proud to enthusiastically support this effort to discover and prepare the next generation of broadcasters.”
KERBY CONFER, lifelong broadcaster, commented, “We want to make a difference and give this next generation a firm foundation in the industry. We are going to birth a whole new generation of radio people, and are so pleased the PENNSYLVANIA ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS offer both their time and financial support, investing in radio’s future”.
All students will be certified Radio Marketing Professionals after completing the RMP sales training course from the RAB.
