The FCC has fined PENTECOSTAL TEMPLE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION $25,000 for lighting and maintenance violations at Gospel WGBN-A/MCKEESPORT-PITTSBURGH, PA.
The notice attributes the fine to the licensee "failing to properly light two antenna structures, for failing to notify the FAA of lighting extinguishments, and for failing to clean or repaint the antenna structures as often as necessary to maintain good visibility." The violations were noted at the station's LINCOLN BOROUGH, PA site; a notice sent to the licensee elicited a Petition for Reconsideration and Response sent to the Office of Managing Director but not to the Enforcement Bureau as required and instructed. After the petition and response were returned, counsel for the licensee sought a payment plan but sent the request to the Bureau rather than the FCC's CFO as required.
