THiS Music’s Rusty Gaston Expected To Head Sony/ATV Nashville

No official word yet, but several media outlets are reporting that RUSTY GASTON has been tapped to head SONY/ATV MUSIC PUBLISHING’S NASHVILLE office. He will succeed TROY TOMLINSON, who joined UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING NASHVILLE this month as Chairman/CEO (NET NEWS 6/17).

GASTON founded publishing company THIS MUSIC in 2006 alongside songwriters TIM NICHOLAS and CONNIE HARRINGTON, and served as the publishing company’s GM. Before that, he spent five years as GM of producer BYRON GALLIMORE’s SONG GARDEN MUSIC and another five as Creative Dir. for SMITH HAVEN MUSIC.
