Podtrac Releases July Ranker Of Top 10 Podcast Publishers

PODTRAC has released its JULY 2018 ranking of the Top 10 podcast publishers.

In the latest rankings based on U.S. unique monthly audience, which again includes the same ten players as in recent months, four of the top ten publishers experienced decreases in their unique monthly audiences month-to-month; unique monthly audience for the top 10 was flat from last month and up 50% year-to-year.

The publisher rankings, which, once again, only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System for the full month (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:

1. NPR (last month: 1) (60 active shows)
2. iHEARTRADIO (2) (244 active shows)
3. RADIOTOPIA/PRX (3) (70 active shows)
4. THE NEW YORK TIMES (5) (9 active shows)
5. WONDERY (4) (74 active shows)
6. BARSTOOL SPORTS (6) (32 active shows)
7. ESPN (7) (62 active shows)
8. THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL (9) (2 active shows)
9. WNYC STUDIOS (8) (51 active shows)
10. DAILY WIRE (10) (5 active shows)

And ranked by global downloads and streams:

1. NPR (last month: 1)
