iHeartMedia Radio Stations To Air 'Sunday Night Podcasts'

iHEARTMEDIA will air episodes of podcasts from the iHEARTPODCAST NETWORK on its broadcast stations on a weekly basis with the debut this SUNDAY (8/11) of  "SUNDAY NIGHT PODCASTS."

The show, part of the company's "Podcast, Meet Broadcast" initiative, will air on 270 iHEARTMEDIA radio stations in several formats, including Top 40, Hot AC, Country, Rock, Urban, and News/Talk. It will debut with the second season opener of WILL FERRELL's "THE RON BURGUNDY PODCAST," featuring an interview with KAMALA HARRIS. Other shows cited by the company in a press release as among those to be aired in the weekly slot are “STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW,”“RIDICULOUS HISTORY,” “ATLANTA MONSTER,” “STUFF YOU MISSED IN HISTORY CLASS,” “TECHSTUFF,” “MATH & MAGIC: STORIES FROM THE FRONTIERS OF MARKETING,” “WHINE DOWN WITH JANA KRAMER,” “HELL AND GONE,” “THE BEN AND ASHLEY I. ALMOST FAMOUS PODCAST,” and “HAPPY FACE.”

The company has aired podcasts on its broadcast stations before, including "ANNA FARIS IS UNQUALIFIED," "INSIDE PSYCHO," "DISGRACELAND," "FAMILY SECRETS," and "MONSTER: THE ZODIAC KILLER," and is trying an all-podcast format on WSAN-A/ALLENTOWN, PA and KABQ-A/ALBUQUERQUE.
