ENTERCOM Adult Hits WSMW (98.7 SIMON)/GREENSBORO's "THE WICKER SHOW" raised $137,920.45 on DECEMBER 15 to benefit the VICTORY JUNCTION GANG CAMP -- which enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences -- as part of its annual "12 Hours Of CHRISTMAS" on-air telethon. Hosted by JEFF WICKER and SKIP THE PRIZE GUY, THE WICKER SHOW stayed on-air from 5:30a to 7p auctioning off items and taking requests for donations from listeners.
Last year 98.7 SIMON raised over $25,000 for the camp. This year, because of a new illness group being served, 98.7 SIMON needed to raise even more money; it takes $2,500 to send one camper to VICTORY JUNCTION GANG CAMP for a week.
