With the recent news of DAVE "THE GROZ" GROSBY's retirement (NET NEWS 8/28) and the move of "BROCK & SALK" to a podcast (NET NEWS 9/17), BONNEVILLE Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN)/SEATTLE has unveiled its new schedule, beginning MONDAY (9/30).
The moves include upping "SEATTLE SPORTS AT NIGHT" evening personalities STACY ROST and JAKE HEAPS to join TOM WASSELL for middays noon-3p, filling the co-host slot left vacant with GROSBY's retirement and BOB STELTON's move to join DAVE WYMAN and JIM MOORE for afternoons 3-7p. STELTON replaces DANNY O'NEIL, who is moving to 7-10a with former ENTERCOM Sports KILT-A/HOUSTON morning host PAUL GALLANT. "BROCK & SALK" co-host BROCK HUARD will join "DANNY AND GALLANT" three times a week at 8a (PT), with former SEAHAWKS wide receiver MICHAEL BUMPUS also appearing regularly on the show.
Behind the scenes, afternoon producer JESSAMYN MCINTYRE is moving earlier to produce "DANNY AND GALLANT," while MAURA DOOLEY, who produces JOHN CLAYTON's 10a-noon show, will take MCINTYRE's place with "BOB, DAVE AND MOORE" and CURTIS ROGERS will take over producing duties for CLAYTON's show. "BROCK & SALK" producer KYLE BROWN will produce "TOM, JAKE & STACY."
