WKKV (V100.7)/Milwaukee Sets Up 8th Annual Sista Strut

iHEARTMEDIA Urban WKKV (V100.7 JAMS)/MILWAUKEE will hold the 8th annual SISTA STRUT in partnership with local FOX Affiliate, FOX6.

It’s a free 3K breast cancer charity walk to bring awareness to the importance of breast cancer screenings. The event will take place on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5th at 9a (CT) at the MARCUS CENTER PERFORMING ARTS CENTER’S PECK PAVILION.

Air personalities BAILEY COLEMAN, REGGIE BROWN, and PROMISE will promote the event on-air and discuss the best ways for the community to take advantage of the on-site resources such as free clinical breast exams. FOX6 news anchor MARY STOKER SMITH will co-host the event.

PD BAILEY COLEMAN said, “SISTA STRUT is a labor of love and it reaches our listeners with vital information about their health. If we can help save one persons life the event will be worth every moment.”

MILWAUKEE resident and breast cancer survivor BRITTNAY DUPREE will serve as the Grand Marshall for the walk.
