Emmis Promotes Chase Rupe To Senior Corporate Development Role, Closes On Sale Of Austin Cluster

EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS has added CHASE RUPE to its senior leadership team as SVP, Strategy and Corporate Development. He will be responsible for investment sourcing and evaluation as EMMIS seeks to reinvest proceeds from its recent radio station sales.

RUPE spent the past 12 years as SVP Operations at EMMIS AUSTIN and previously served in leadership roles at iHEARTMEDIA and CUMULUS MEDIA.  He will be based in AUSTIN.

This morning the company closed on the sale of its AUSTIN cluster to its long-time AUSTIN RADIO parnter,  SINCLAIR TELECABLE.
