Record Store Day Introduces Its Own Podcast

RECORD STORE DAY is getting its own podcast with the debut of the "RECORD STORE DAY PODCAST," produced with comic and writer/producer PAUL MYERS.

The podcast will post every other TUESDAY and debuted this week with MYERS interviewing TONY VISCONTI; the show will highlight independent record stores and the records they sell, with guests including musicians, producers, writers, actors, and fans.

RECORD STORE DAY, managed by the DEPARTMENT OF RECORD STORES in partnership with the ALLIANCE OF INDEPENDENT MEDIA STORES and COALITION OF INDEPENDENT MUSIC STORES, has expanded from its APRIL main event and BLACK FRIDAY sibling to the SUMMER CAMP conference and partnership in the MAKING VINYL conference.
