The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS has launched an online educational program for new employees of radio and TV stations in small and medium markets. "Broadcast Essentials" has debuted with the "Radio Employee Onboarding Suite," including a primer on things like licenses, content delivery methods, organizational charts, content and revenue streams, commercials, and radio’s role in the local community and economy.
“Navigating the broadcast business can be intimidating for first-time employees, with so many different industry terms, regulations and workflows,” said EVP of Industry Affairs STEVE NEWBERRY. “We are pleased to offer NAB members this complimentary new resource designed to equip new employees with information they need to succeed in their new roles.”
The program is free for NAB members; Non-members can buy the series company-wide or per station/cluster.
