Westwood One To Rebroadcast 15 Classic March Madness Games

With the cancellation of the NCAA men's college basketball tournaments this year, WESTWOOD ONE is filling the gap with rebroadcasts of fifteen classic games from MARCH MADNESS history, to air over three weeks starting THURSDAY (3/19) at 8p (ET) with the 1979 MICHIGAN STATE-INDIANA STATE final featuring MAGIC JOHNSON and LARRY BIRD. The broadcast will feature a halftime present-day interview with JOHNSON and BIRD.

KEVIN KUGLER, JASON HOROWITZ, and RYAN RADTKE will rotate as hosts of the broadcasts, which will include the original play-by-play.  The schedule:

• MARCH 20th: 2018 first round, UMBC vs. VIRGINIA

• MARCH 22nd: 2013 Second Round, FGCU vs. GEORGETOWN; 2016 championship game, VILLANOVA vs. NORTH CAROLINA
• MARCH 26th: 2005 Elite 8, ILLINOIS vs. ARIZONA
• MARCH 27th: 1983 championship game, NORTH CAROLINA STATE vs. HOUSTON
• MARCH 28th: 2006 Elite 8, GEORGE MASON vs. CONNECTICUT; 2010 championship game, DUKE vs BUTLER
• MARCH 29th: 2003 Elite 8, MARQUETTE vs. KENTUCKY; 1982 championship game, NORTH CAROLINA vs. GEORGETOWN
• APRIL 4th: 2015 Final Four, WISCONSIN vs. KENTUCKY; 1985 championship game, VILLANOVA vs. GEORGETOWN
