WNIR/Akron's Jim Isabella Tests Positive For COVID-19

MEDIA-COM News-Talk WINR/AKRON evening host JIM ISABELLA has tested positive for the COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS and is currently in treatment for the infection.

ISABELLA told the AKRON BEACON JOURNAL that he was hospitalized last week for pneumonia and was tested for CORONAVIRUS on MONDAY, with the test returning positive on WEDNESDAY. He added that he presently has a cough and rattle in his chest and is finding it hard to talk.

ISABELLA's diagnosis has led to the rest of the on-air staff, including STEVE FRENCH, BOB GOLIC, and MARK RICHARDS, going into quarantine and working from their homes.
