Morning Co-Host Ken Altshuler Exits WGAN-A/Portland, ME

Longtime SAGA COMMUNICATIONS News-Talk WGAN-A-W253GA/PORTLAND, ME morning co-host KEN ALTSHULER was let go from the station on FRIDAY (3/27), according to the PORTLAND PRESS HERALD.

ALTSHULER, an attorney, co-hosted mornings since 2002, hosting as the liberal counterpart to conservative MATT GAGNON for the last five years. ALTSHULER told the PRESS HERALD that he was informed that the cut was due to "financial restructuring" and the station is going to a single-host format. He added that he plans to start a podcast and will guest on his former WGAN co-host MIKE VIOLETTE's show on MOUNTAIN WIRELESS News-Talk-Oldies-Sports WSKW-A (LEGACY 1160)/SKOWHEGAN, ME.
