ENTERCOM News-Talk WRVA-A-W241AP/RICHMOND's JEFF KATZ has been urging CENTRAL VIRGINIA residents to turn on CHRISTMAS lights, porch lights, and any other lights on their houses each evening, and leave their car headlights on while driving during the day, to provide some light in the darkness of the COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS pandemic, and the idea is catching on.
KATZ tells ALL ACCESS that his "Light Up RVA!" campaign, asking for house lights to be on during the 7-9p (ET) hours and car headlights on all day while driving, has garnered 1,100 followers for its FACEBOOK group in a short period, with the members posting photos of their lights. "It's just a little something I'm doing to remind my listeners that we are all in this together and that we will get through this," KATZ said. "There is a light at the end of this."
Check out the lights at the "Light Up RVA!" FACEBOOK group.
