The syndicated "ROADWORTHY DRIVE" and "ROADWORTHY DRIVE MINUTE" are developing a PSA for affiliates to offer what Pres./CEO KEN CHESTER calls the shows' quest to provide "encouraging and upbeat pieces as a break from the constant drumbeat of pandemic-related news elsewhere." The shows, which cover "all things mobility," are also incorporating words of encouragement to truckers, first responders, grocery store workers, and others on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.
With syndication efforts slowed by the pandemic, the show has put on pause its efforts to hire salespeople but CHESTER adds that the show is "blessed with low overhead and an ability to self-fund our way through this crisis -- for now."
