Country artists LUKE COMBS, KELSEA BALLERINI, DYLAN SCOTT, JAKE OWEN, CHRIS LANE, MORGAN WALLEN, KEITH URBAN and more have participated in the "#DemoChallenge," the latest challenge circulating on social media. This one asks artists to post their original demos for fans to hear, before nominating other artists to do the same.
BALLERINI shared the demo for "Needy," a song off her new album, "KELSEA," and challenged JIMMY ROBBINS, RYAN TEDDER, JULIA MICHAELS, AVENUE BEAT and RUSSELL DICKERSON.
While some artists released the original demos from already recorded songs, others previewed new songs that have yet to been released. WALLEN, who was nominated by OWEN, shared a demo of an unreleased track he's on the fence about putting on his next album, called "7 Summers." He asked fans to let him know what they think of it.
LANE also posted an unreleased song, captioning it, "@dyslanscottcountry nominated me ... so here's a little quarantine one for ya ... Should I record it?" before nominating artists ERNEST, MITCHELL TENPENNY, GARY LEVOX and MICHAEL RAY.
COMBS shared 23 seconds of a new song called "South On Ya," and JON LANGSTON, who was challenged by SCOTT, released a demo of "Try Missing You," stating that he can't wait to get back into the studio and record it.
