January 16, 2007 at 3:16 PM (PT)
The CRB (COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS) are once again offering a special "SPRING TOWN MEETING" package price for music industry professionals who don't normally attend all three days of CRS. The SPRING TOWN MEETING, sponsored by BMI, will be held on THURSDAY, MARCH 1 and will give music industry professionals a chance to participate at the nominal cost of $85 until FEBRUARY 2 and $110 afterwards.
The package will include the following segments from CRS:
> The HISPANIC STUDY PRESENTATION from 2-3p (CT), with the first-ever study of HISPANIC AMERICANS and their relationship with Country radio.
> NO HOLDS BARRED from 3:15-4:10p (CT). Sit back and get ready for an upbeat, casual discussion from the top gate-keepers in the industry, while they sit down at the bar and field questions from our bartender/moderator, BOB KINGSLEY. On the panel will be UMG COO/Chairman LUKE LEWIS, CAPITOL Chairman MIKE DUNGAN, CUMULUS RADIO Dir./Programming CHARLIE COOK, SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO Country Programmer SCOTT LINDY, ASYLUM/CURB artist CLAY WALKER -- and that's not all. Stay tuned for more names to be added to this already blockbuster lineup.
> The BMI CRS-LIVE from 4:15-5:15p (CT) -- a CRS favorite for many years, this time the songwriters' performance showcase includes LYRIC STREET's SARAH BUXTON, BNA's PAT GREEN, music icon MAC DAVIS, and the show's host and songwriter, JEFFREY STEELE.
