CBS and the INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS ink a three-year extension to their current contract. The present deal expires JULY 31, and the union's membership ratified a new deal on FRIDAY (1/19).
The deal includes salary increases (3% for the first two years and 3.5% in the third year), plus increases in some travel expenses and contributions to benefits funds for freelancers and per diem employees. In addition, the deal also covers the network looking to use union members for streaming Internet services.
