CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KTLK-F/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL afternoon host JASON LEWIS and the station's website have drummed up over 10,000 signatures for the "Tax Cut Coalition," a movement to draw attention to MINNESOTA's tax policies and push for permanent tax relief.
LEWIS said, "For those folks out there who say conservatism is waning in MINNESOTA or the tax revolt is dead, they might want to take that up with 10,000 Minnesotans who clearly have a different view. In the span of only one month, this is a remarkable response. To me, it means a couple of things: Minnesotans still desire permanent tax reduction, primarily from income taxes, and they want it done this session before the surplus is spent."
The Coalition will be holding a tax-cut rally on the steps of the State Capitol in ST. PAUL on APRIL 14.
