CHUM Launches 'The Sound Lounge'

CHUM LTD. launches a national weekday evening interactive music show, "THE SOUND LOUNGE," for seven of its stations across CANADA. The show will launch FEBRUARY 5 and will be hosted by AC CHUM-F/TORONTO's CORY KIMM; it will feature live performances and interviews, a listener-selected playlist via the show's website, and listener questions and comments for KIMM and his guests via text messaging. BLUE OCTOBER will be the guest on the first show, with EVANESCENCE's AMY LEE, AVRIL LAVIGNE, DAUGHTRY, KATHARINE MCPHEE, MOBILE, and EVA AVILA scheduled for upcoming shows.

The show will initially air on CHUM-F/TORONTO; CFLY (98.3 FLY FM)/KINGSTON, ON; CFJR (104.9 JR FM)/BROCKVILLE, ON; CHIQ (Q94 FM)/WINNIPEG; CHBE (107.3 KOOL FM)/VICTORIA; and CIOO (C100 FM)/HALIFAX, with CHUM's new CALGARY station coming aboard later in 2007.
