Our condolences to family and friends of CUMULUS Rock KLSZ (ROCK 100.7)/FT. SMITH, AR sales exec/CHEF EDDY'S NEW BLUES REVUE host JIM McCORMICK (a.k.a. CHEF EDDY), who passed away this afternoon (2/6) after suffering a massive stroke last week. He was 54.
CHEF EDDY's Blues show has been a fixture in FORT SMITH for the past 12 years.
His friend RAY MILLER, OM/PD at crosstown PEARSON Alternative KERX, said, "He was well known as a Blues purist, historian, and huge fan of the genre. He will be best remembered as the man with 'The Voice' and his funny sayings as much as his humorous outlook on life."
