FCC Chairman KEVIN MARTIN has scheduled a meeting with Republican Congressmen from the House Telecommunications Subcommittee in advance of next THURSDAY's oversight hearing.
BROADCASTING AND CABLE magazine reports that a memo from ranking minority member FRED UPTON to the other Republicans on the subcommittee indicates that the "member-only" meeting is scheduled for 3p on TUESDAY at the RAYBURN HOUSE OFFICE BUILDING. Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman JOHN DINGELL (D-MI) is also planning a similar meeting with MARTIN for Democrats, according to committee Communications Director JODI SETH.
