FINDLAY PUBLISHING CO. Talk WFIN-A/FINDLAY fell victim to the storms blanketing much of the U.S. on TUESDAY when the station's tower collapsed. The station says "blizzard-like conditions" caused a guy wire to fail and took the tower down.
The station returned to the air WEDNESDAY morning using reduced power and a temporary antenna rigged by Chief Engineer DENNIS RUND at the tower site. The low-power rig is getting a signal out to most of HANCOCK COUNTY.
