PARAGON MEDIA RESEARCH has acquired BOB HARPER's KEYSTONE FOCUS RESEARCH for an undisclosed price. With the purchase, HARPER, who was serving as KEYSTONE's President, will join PARAGON as SVP, working as a lead researcher and consultant for PARAGON clients, including clients moving over from KEYSTONE; he will also participate in PARAGON's new business development and new product designs.
PARAGON CEO MIKE HENRY said, "The acquisition of KEYSTONE is a major growth surge for PARAGON in a highly competitive field. The integration of BOB HARPER into PARAGON is a major triumph for PARAGON clients new and old. Ours is an IQ-based and relationship-grounded business, and BOB is second to none in both critical areas. BOB’s track record in radio programming lore is epic, and the loyalty of his research followers is well-known. I’m honored to have BOB HARPER join the PARAGON family of media researchers and consultants. BOB now has the benefit of working with the finest quality radio research operation in NORTH AMERICA, and PARAGON gains one of the brightest strategic radio minds ever."
HARPER added, "After spending time with MIKE HENRY, JOHN STEVENS, LARRY JOHNSON, and the exceptional people at PARAGON, it didn’t take long to know this was going to be a perfect fit for us and the KEYSTONE client stations. PARAGON cares about all the important things that make big dreams and new ideas come to life. There are some real exciting times ahead for radio, and I’m glad PARAGON and I will be pushing the envelope together."
COO/Radio STEVENS said, "I am very excited to have BOB HARPER joining PARAGON. BOB is truly a legend in the industry, and the experience he brings us will be unparalleled. It is not often that you can add someone with BOB’s credentials to your team. He will be involved on several levels of our operation, working with both our existing clients as well as helping us in new product development."
