WXTU/Philadelphia Afternoon Host Nicole Michalik Signed To Contract Extension

BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP has signed Country WXTU/PHILADELPHIA afternoon host NICOLE MICHALIK to a multiyear contract extension. MICHALIK has been with WXTU since 2019 (NET NEWS 2/20/19).  

“NICOLE has immersed herself into the County music culture,” said WXTU PD and midday host MARK RAZZ. “She loves the music and has fun every time she’s on the microphone. Her love of PHILLY shines on the air and on her social media handles. I’m glad we have her signed to a new contract. I anticipate many productive years with [her] on the brand that put Country music in PHILADELPHIA.”  

“Joining XTU three years ago has been the most unexpected highlight of my career,” said MICHALIK. “It’s a joy and privilege to come to work every day and entertain the DELAWARE VALLEY with live and local radio. I want to thank [VP/Market Mgr.]  JOE BELL, RAZZ, and the entire BEASLEY family for the opportunity. I am so very excited to continue doing what I love!”

A market veteran, MICHALIK previously worked at PHILADELPHIA stations WISX (MY 106.1) and WIOQ (Q102), as well as WLAN/LANCASTER, PA. The PHILADELPHIA native’s resume includes her participation as a contestant on "The Biggest Loser," working off BROADWAY in "GILBERT GOTTFRIED Presents: The Diet Show!" and her work with digital platforms as host of the "Why Are You Following Me?" podcast and video. She also co-hosted “The Q” on PHILLY TV station FOX 29.
