George Plaster Exits WNSR/Nashville To Join Streaming Video Venture

THE TENNESSEAN reports that longtime NASHVILLE sports radio host GEORGE PLASTER is on the move again, this time leaving SOUTHERN WABASH COMMUNICATIONS Sports WNSR-A-W240CA (NASHVILLE SPORTS RADIO)/NASHVILLE to join local weekly newspaper group and online news organization MAIN STREET MEDIA OF TENNESSEE for a streaming TV show, starting in mid-JULY. PLASTER and co-host WATSON BROWN will be seen weekdays 4-6p (CT), and PLASTER will also host additional shows for the streaming platform.
PLASTER joined WNSR in 2019 after a one-month stay at RYMAN HOSPITALITY PROPERTIES Country WSM-A, which followed longer stints at CUMULUS News-Talk WWTN (SUPER TALK 99.7 WTN) and Sports WGFX (104.5 THE ZONE) and CROMWELL GROUP Sports WPRT (102.5 THE GAME) and a stretch outside of radio as Associate Athletics Dir./Marketing at BELMONT UNIVERSITY.
