New biweekly show THE BROKEN JUKEBOX SOCIETY RADIO WITH NICK HOFFMAN will debut on APPLE MUSIC COUNTRY TOMORROW (4/23) at 10a (CT). Veteran musician and television personality HOFFMAN asks artists to dig through their record collections and share their findings and the influence of those records on their own careers. Initial episodes feature JORDAN DAVIS (4/23) and DUSTIN LYNCH.
Said HOFFMAN, "I'm into what makes artists tick. Why'd you write that song? How'd you get to where you're at? The style that you have as an artist, how did you get there?’ I'm fascinated by the journey. So this show is all about nostalgia. It's less about the songs you have on the radio right now and ,,, more about how you got to them." The focus is on '80s, '90s and 2000s Country, but HOFFMAN said, "there's no rules. It reveals a side of the artist that you wouldn't normally see."
HOFFMAN took over as host of APPLE MUSIC COUNTRY's biweekly BACK PORCH COUNTRY RADIO show in MARCH of 2021, and added hosting duties for new biweekly show I MISS ... 90s COUNTRY RADIO that same month.
The new show is available to all APPLE MUSIC subscribers.
