Republic Records Promotes Glenn Mendlinger To EVP/Republic Records & Pres./Imperial Music

REPUBLIC RECORDS has promoted GLENN MENDLINGER to EVP/REPUBLIC RECORDS and Pres./IMPERIAL MUSIC. He'll be based out of the NEW YORK Headquarters. 

Before joining REPUBLIC RECORDS and IMPERIAL, MENDLINGER spent 21 years at ASTRALWERKS, serving as the GM of the label since 2006, overseeing campaigns for classic records by FATBOY SLIM and THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS at the turn of the century, with DAFT PUNK and DAVID GUETTA during the mid-aughts and again with SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA. In 2014, he signed HALSEY and shepherded her into a GRAMMY Award-nominated multiplatinum force of nature. 

 With a focus on artist development, he has been a catalyst for numerous superstars, singing and working with SIA, PHOENIX, PORTER ROBINSON, DFA RECORDS, DEADMAU5, PET SHOP BOYS, HOT CHIP, EMPIRE OF THE SUN, THE B-52’S, KRAFTWERK AND AIR. Prior to ASTRALWERKS, he worked at EAST WEST and VIRGIN.
