iHEARTRADIO HONOLULU has added longtime HAWAII broadcaster DANIELLE TUCKER as a traffic anchor for all of its local stations. In addition, the cluster will be adding 100 traffic reports a week with the addition of reports on Hawaiian KDNN-HD2 (HAWAI'I NO KA OI) and Asian Pop KUCD-HD2 (POP! 99.1).
iHEARTMEDIA HONOLULU SVP Programming JAMIE HYATT said, “iHEARTRADIO HONOLULU recognizes that as things open back up, traffic is worse than ever. By increasing our traffic reporting presence, we are doing everything we can to help the people of HAWAII get to where they are going as quickly as possible. We already offer excellent traffic reports with TC CASISON anchoring ‘KSSK Ten Minute Traffic,' and providing drive-time reports on all of our iHEART stations. With the addition of DANIELLE TUCKER to our arsenal, iHEARTRADIO stations in HONOLULU are poised to give radio listeners even more accurate and up-to-the-minute traffic reports for those often-grueling traffic commutes.”
Added TUCKER, “It’s an honor to be working at the top-ranked radio stations in HAWAII and I’m looking forward to providing listeners with up-to-the-minute traffic reports on-air and via social media to help them drive safely along their journeys.”
TUCKER spent 22 years as traffic reporter for SUMMIT MEDIA’s HONOLULU cluster, and previously spent 14 years at KKUA/KQMQ as co-host of “Morning Madness” with MICHAEL QSENG. TUCKER also teamed with RORY WILD and the Wake Up Crew on iHEARTRADIO’s KIKI-FM (I94, now 93.9 THE BEAT).
