COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY athletics will continue to air on TOWNSQUARE MEDIA's NOCO (GREELEY-FORT COLLINS) cluster under a contract extension with multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD's RAMS SPORTS PROPERTIES and will add BONNEVILLE Sports KEPN-A (ESPN DENVER 1600)/DENVER as an affiliate for football and men's basketball plus select women's basketball games, with sister KKFN (104.3 THE FAN)/DENVER airing some football games as well. In NORTHERN COLORADO, Country KUAD (K99) will air football and men's basketball, with women's basketball remaining on Top 40/Rhythmic KARS (POWER 102.9).
BRIAN ROTH continues calling football and men's basketball, with RICKY BREWER replacing the retired MARK DRISCOLL as football analyst and MARTY CESARIO and KEVIN MCGLUE on the sidelines; ADAM NIGON will serve as men's basketball analyst, and MATT WOZNIAK will call women's basketball.
"We are thrilled to be able to extend our relationship with TOWNSQUARE MEDIA for expanded coverage throughout northern COLORADO and begin a new partnership with BONNEVILLE for significantly improved availability in the DENVER Metro area on the RAMS RADIO NETWORK," said CSU Dir. of Athletics JOE PARKER. "As we progressed through this renewal process, it was important that we connect with partners to help cover our state, and we are thankful to LEARFIELD for bringing that vision to fruition."
TOWNSQUARE MEDIA NOCO Pres. EVAN HARRISON said, "We have 30 local employees who live right here in NOCO, we're RAMS Sports fans just like our audience, all of CSU and our local business community at large -- we are thrilled to continue this tremendous strategic partnership."
"We're very excited for ESPN DENVER 1600 to become the MILE HIGH CITYs radio home of the COLORADO STATE RAMS," said KKFN-KEPN PD RAJ SHARAN. "We're eager to listen in as Brian Roth calls the action in (football) Coach (JAY) NORVELL's first year while (men's basketball) Coach (NIKO) MEDVED and (women's basketball) Coach (RYUN) WILLIAMS look to continue building on their winning seasons."
