WYGY/Cincinnati Flips To All-Garth Brooks Music, Rebrands As Garth 97.3 For Two-Day Event

HUBBARD Country WYGY/CINCINNATI is temporarily rebranding from “97.3 THE WOLF” to “GARTH 97.3” in recognition of Country superstar GARTH BROOKS playing two nights at the city’s PAUL BROWN STADIUM this weekend (MAY 13th-14th). The switch happened at midnight today (5/13), and will continue until midnight on SATURDAY. To correspond with the re-branding, the station is only playing music from BROOKS during the two-day stunt, and will feature nearly 70 different songs from his catalog, spanning almost 30 years.

APD JESSE TACK spearheaded the project, and said, “As a lifelong GARTH BROOKS fan, the amount of time and passion put into this project is something I can’t wait to share with all 97.3 THE WOLF listeners. The GARTH 97.3 playlist includes all of GARTH BROOKS’ biggest hits, forgotten favorites, and popular live cuts. This weekend's shows mark BROOKS’ first time performing at PAUL BROWN STADIUM, home of the BENGALS, as well as his first time performing in CINCINNATI in five years.
